Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Pixlo (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.

By using Pixlo, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Information We Collect

a. Account Information

When you sign in, we may collect account information such as your user ID, email address, display name, and authentication provider information.

This information is used to create and manage your Pixlo account.

b. Photos, Prompts, and Generated Content

Pixlo accesses photos only when you grant permission or select a photo in the app.

When you use Pixlo to edit an image, we collect:

• The photo you upload

• The selected template or edit prompt

• The generated output

We use this information to:

• Provide AI photo editing

• Display your generation history

• Troubleshoot issues

• Maintain service quality

Uploaded photos and generated images may be stored in private cloud storage associated with your account so you can view your edits in the app.

c. User Photo & Face Data

Pixlo allows users to upload photos for AI-powered photo editing. Uploaded photos may include a person’s face if the user chooses to upload such an image.

Pixlo does not collect biometric face data, face geometry, faceprints, facial recognition identifiers, or information used to identify or authenticate a person.

We use uploaded photos only to provide the photo editing features requested by the user, including generating edited images from selected templates or user-provided prompts. We do not use photos or face-containing images for facial recognition, identity verification, advertising, profiling, tracking, or sale to third parties.

Uploaded photos and generated images may be stored in private cloud storage associated with the user’s account so users can view and manage their generated photo history. Photos may also be processed by third-party service providers, including cloud storage and AI image generation providers, solely to operate the app’s editing features.

Photos are retained while they are associated with the user’s account or generation history, unless deleted by the user or removed through an account/data deletion request. Pixlo does not retain biometric face data because no biometric face data is created or collected.

d. Usage Data and Diagnostics

We may collect limited usage, performance, and diagnostic data, including:

• App interactions

• Feature usage

• Crash reports

• Logs

• Device information

• Performance data

This helps us improve app stability, understand how features are used, and troubleshoot errors.

e. Purchases and Credits

Subscription and payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not store or have access to your payment card information.

We may store purchase-related information such as:

• Product identifiers

• Subscription status

• Credit balances

• Credit transaction history

This information is used to manage access to Pixlo features.

f. Push Notifications

If you enable notifications, we may collect and store a device push token and related device information to send app notifications, such as generation status updates.

How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Provide and improve app functionality

• Authenticate users and manage accounts

• Process photo edits and AI-generated results

• Store and display generation history

• Manage subscriptions, credits, and access to features

• Send notifications if enabled

AI Processing and Third-Party Providers

Pixlo uses third-party AI service providers to process photo edits.

When you request an edit, your uploaded photo, selected template, prompt, and related generation data may be sent to these providers so they can generate the edited image.

We use this data only to provide the requested editing functionality and related app services.

We do not use your uploaded photos or generated images to train Pixlo-owned AI models.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate Pixlo, including providers for:

Apple processes payments and subscriptions through the App Store.

Uploaded photos and generated images are stored in private cloud storage associated with your account.

Account data, credits, transaction history, and related app data may be stored as long as your account remains active or as needed to:

You can also delete your account from within the app settings. Deleting your account removes account data according to our deletion process.

Pixlo may use third-party services, including:

• Apple for In-App Purchases, subscriptions, and Sign in with Apple

• Google for Google Sign-In

• Supabase for authentication, database, backend functions, and storage

• Superwall for paywalls and subscription-related infrastructure

• Sentry for crash reporting and diagnostics

• PostHog for analytics and product usage insights

• AI service providers for image generation and photo editing
